Welcome to St John's High
Being a Dominican School, the school strives to abide by the 4 pillars of Dominican Life which are Prayer, Study, Community and Service.
A Brief History
St. Johns High School is a Catholic co-ed school run by the Dominican Sisters.
It was founded in April 1925 by Sister Mary Wilhelmine (O.P). Her co-founder was Sister Rita. When it was started St. John’s catered mostly for the Coloured and Indian students.
By December 1925 it had a total of 18 Boarders and today it boasts of around 700 day scholars.
Its motto is VERITAS which translates to TRUTH.
